The artwork was previously exhibited at the group show NEO-MEDIEVAL at Ulstrup Castle, a contemporary interpretation of medieval spirituality.

Kristoffer Bech’s work often revolves around the visual and performative elements of the theatrical. In “Hazy Gaze III” however, the landscape of the Danish countryside surrounding Ulstrup Castle, becomes the setting. We encounter a gaze that seems to come from somewhere while simultaneously disappearing into the haze. The artwork is characterized by an ambiguous atmosphere in which something familiar slowly emerges, yet never reveals itself completely. But the feeling of being observed lingers.
