The HOT SAUCE series by Miriam Beichert consists of a canvas with the well-known hot sauce brand Sriracha painted on it, which was then cut in two and sewn together with a different painting. The artist was inspired to paint the Sriracha logo after noticing that everywhere she moved, she always had a Sriracha in the fridge, no matter what. This simple anecdote underlines how our physical surroundings can contribute to creating a sense of home.
