The artwork is part of the newest body of work by the artist duo Christoph Florin. The works were made for the show "APRIL FOOLS, or are we just fools?" by Ulstrup Gallery. The exhibition reflects on fake news, political spin, and the growing polarization fueled by algorithmic infrastructures, systems that increasingly shape our understanding of reality.

The exhibition approaches these issues through visual metaphors and playful yet unsettling works. In Christoph Florin’s work, recurring motifs such as open taps hint at parallel streams of information. Each tap represents a different flow and a different narrative or worldview. These variations echo the way algorithmic systems personalize realities for each viewer, producing multiple, fragmented versions of truth.
