Noemi Durighello is inspired by still life and the world of objects. Her focus lies on the natural elements contained in (mainly baroque) still life paintings. They appear in the form of fruit, flowers, or food and remind us of the finiteness and transience of all earthly life – the vanitas motif. In addition, she develops her formal language through the abstraction and deconstruction of objects in her analogue and digital environment as well as visual association and formal comparison.
