In the online group exhibition BEYOND, artists Ju Schnee, Sobekcis, Noemi Durighello, and Philip Hauge Reitz explore the non-figurative world, where shapes, colors, and materials interact in abstract works. Here, it is not the subject that prompts our reaction to the work, but rather something subtle and often indefinable that emerges from the composition of the work’s elements. The exhibiting artists each have their own approach to the abstract form of expression and navigate the tension between the organic and the structured, yet each of them presents works that go beyond fixed definitions and draw us into an intimate dialogue focused on the sensory rather than the recognizable.
